How to Remove Oil and Tar from Carpet

This has worked for me before.

1. Vacuum carpet thotoughly.

2. Spray tar with WD40

3. Let sit 5 to 10 minutes.

4. Rub with a dry rag.

You may have to repeat this more than once.

For oil, try a fabric degreaser like Spray and Wash.
