I've found a simple and effitive way to organizae evrything from contract files to warranties to appliance manuals to keepsake documents.

It's as simple as this:

Create a hanging folder for each letter of the alphabet and possible the numbers 0 thru 9.

Create a folder for each subject that you want to save. For example, if you have instruction or maintenance booklets for your furnace, create a folder and label it "Furnace" or some other meaningful name to you. File the folder in the "F" hanging folder.

You can use this simple technique for everything. I've created folders for real estate by filing it under the numbered hanging folder for the beginning of the address. For example, 123 Main Street Property, may be found in the "1" hanging folder.

You can even set up folders for children and keep special documents in each. This simple filing method has kept me organized for many years. I always know where to look for important information as well as those documents I need on a regular basis.

Hope this helps.
